January 2015

Nearly everyone was back after the Christmas festivities and a number were ready to go colouring paper.  We used the technique I learnt with Frances Pickering, tearing each page around the previous ones to get a good fit in a book, then dipping the paper in water to wet it and then adding colour.  If you stack the pages diagonally across each other you get some interesting marks across each page.  You can add salt and layer cling film between pages for more interesting results.

I was hoping to show you some of the papers that we produced but blogger won't download my photographs, keeps saying that it cannot connect to the server.  I am trying to sort it out but it is difficult to contact them.
