Friday 20th January

A good start to the new year, nearly all the group were present and everyone busy with their work.  We didn't meet to stitch in December as the weather wasn't too good, lots of snow on the ground and very cold.  We had a lunch booked so we met at the restaurant instead by which time the sun had come out and the snow was melting.

People have been busy over the holidays and we had some lovely pieces of work on display.

Cath has been working on this for a while but it is now finished and framed and looks stunning.

Ann couldn't come to our workshop with Jessica Gray so she has done this piece herself using the same technique.  It is called 'Fireworks'.

A friend sent Lesley this card which happened to be a photograph of a piece of work done by Lis. Lesley didn't realise this until she had finished the felted piece and brought it in. What a coincidence.
