Saturday 22nd April

A busy day for me getting everyone sorted with a place on the display boards for the exhibition.  I have now got most of the postcards in and attached to the strips we display them on and they are looking really good.  It is always amazing to see what different inspirations people get from each card.

This is the poster for the exhibition, make a date in your diaries for a day by the coast with an exciting display of embroidery to look at.

Here are some of the pieces people were stitching this week
Glynis is doing this lovely bird

Mavis has chosen this traditional design from tiles

Lis has finished her Medieval work and is doing this lovely hedgehog

Geraldine has made this fantastic cushion using non recyclable bags.  The reverse of the cushion is the reverse of the bags and it is stuffed with empty crisp packets.  How amazing is that!
